Post-election Polling

Because we have to be weaned off of polls telling us what is really going on...

So after 6 days of extensive polling, we will finally reveal to you our theory (previously revealed in one of our first posts...). As we often say, it seems that we are, at times, the only clear-minded, non-dbag people in a 2 mile vicinity. What makes this possible, you ask? Well, we only drink filtered water. The City of Montgomery has been slowly dosing its citizens with some sort of crazy powder which our almighty Brita is able to extract from our water. So, apparently we're all just about split down the middle on this issue. Perhaps we'll revise our theory a bit...

More importantly, anyone have awesome suggestions for weekend events? I mean, other than Joe's and the 7???

Well, I want to go see Religulous at The Capri...and I believe Senor Johnson of the Matt Clan is game, so maybe a Sunday matinee is in the works?

As for the filtered v. unfiltered, I don't filter due to my sensitive teeth. Complaining of severe sensitivity, I sat in my dentists' chair trying to figure out what I was doing differently, as I had never had such a problem and I refused to chalk it up to old age. I was probably 25 when this happened. He determined that it was my strict aversion to unfiltered water that was to blame. Apparently if you only drink filtered, you lose over 75% of the fluoride your teeth require daily to remain less porous. Who knew?

First, Regligulous played in Montgommery? Wow. I think it was in Birmingham for half a week at the Summit.

Second, I filter and I love it. As far as it leading to clear-headedness I think I'd be the poster child for the opposite argument.

Narymind...it won't be a matinee as the only showing on Sundays is 7:30 pm. I forget that. Anywho, I still plan on going.

I don’t filter because I like the taste of lead.

As far as the weekend goes, I’m working. I know, I know...WILD!

I believe the expression is "workin' FOR the weekend," not "workin' THROUGH the weekend."
